I wanted to create a series of mugs about Forest. Not just showing a certain animal as a symbol, but telling a story about that animal. Showing a family, their home, trees, birds, flowers, bunnies, butterflies.
Fox is a very feminine symbol. It's totem was used widely in the past (and these days) by women for adding sexuality, magnetism, intelligence, for protection and luck.
This cup is about 100 ml, made of stoneware clay, hand build. I painted it with underglaze, glazed the mug on both sides. Inside glaze has this iron-ish rusty shino appearance. This mug is high temperatures fired, thus will survive dishwasher and microwave, but I would strongly recommend to handwash it and handle with love as so much time and work was put in it... This mug is one of a kind. I will create more mugs in this direction as I love nature :) But every mug is hanbuilt, handpainted, with different details so your will always be unique.
